I am building an aircraft for the Za Rodinu group build and am wanting to ad a pair of AA-8 Aphid missiles to it. I have looked through all the weapon set's I have but not found any spare. I only have Dragon and ICM weapon sets, my Dragon box is out of them, all in other projects and the ICM doesn't have any as the AA-8 has been replaced by something else  :banghead:
Can anyone help by either sending me a couple of missiles to replace what I rob from another project or point me in the direction of a supply of Aphid's, non garden variety.

Thanks in advance

I'm sure I've got some Alastair, either from various un-built Soviet kits or an unused Soviet weapons set that I have somewhere.

Keep an eye on your postbox.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Thanks Kit, your a star!

To make sure I can actually place some on my Yak-75 I will have to raid the stash as I have very little in the modelling room that's Russian and carries the AA-8 Aphid.  :banghead:

Me and my mouth......  :banghead:

I've dug through my various SovAF kits and can't find ANYthing that looks like an AA-8 I'm afraid Alastair, sorry.

I have a Hasegawa Mig-23 Flogger B, a Revell Foxhound, a Nakotone Su-27 and set of Russian moulded weapons, but I can't find anything with those long wings at the rear of the missile body.

That's ok Kit. I will see what I can find on-line though I hate spending high prices for some of the stuff that's available.

I do know I have loads of AA-11 Archer missiles which look like a scaled up version of the AA-8 Aphid, just that the period I am building most of my Russian aircraft they used the AA-8  :banghead:

Thanks Thorvic but I am only looking for the AA-8's as I have the remains of two of the box's in the link already and I don't need any more AA-2's or any others at the moment.
