Caveman

A series of books (3 at time of posting but a 4th on the way).  The theme being that the RN regained control of the FAA somewhat earlier than it did in reality and therefore has a more potent set of aircraft and carriers at the outbreak of WW2 and the effects that this has on the conflict.

Has anyone read these?

I think that there are some cracking ideas which warrant modelling, including a Merlin powered reconnaissance Whirlwind.

Has anyone visualised (drawn/modelled) any of the aircraft before?

Where did you find the books? They sound terrific, well worth digging out.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

If you look here http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/266885 you can download the first 10% of volume 1 for free - should be a taster to see just how good they're likely to be.
What if... I had a brain?
