So who's going to Hendon ? and do we know where we will be ?

I should be there about 12-00pm as I'm traveling down from Derby

This was plugged in the Metro the other day: http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/london/whats-going-on/events/model-futures/

Same day as the Hendon event.  There will be a Lancaster flypast on Sunday 11th May - timings are to be announced

11 May is also the last day of this http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/london/whats-going-on/events/airfix-making-history/ (have to say I found this disappointing)

Got an interesting trip on Sunday.

Derby to Luton/Luton to St Albans/St Albans to Millhill Broadway/ Millhill Broadway to the Museum.

Sounds daft but if the connections work then it should be an hour shorter then going into St P and back out again. We shall see !

Are you sure Derby's even going to be open on a Sunday? I drove past it y'day and it looked as dead as it was when I lived there.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Lancaster flypast is at 11.10am on the Sunday, that means it must be flying over Hendon via various other places. It may just be a pre-season practice run as I can't find any airshows that day with Lancaster appearances planned. Most likely there are several private events with appearances to be made.

The 8th May is Veterans Day for the RAF Museum and they have a private event with 12.30pm flyover and a repeat performance on the 11th.

I'm going, I'll be the one looking lost carrying a large cardboard box and asking lots of questions.

They've all fled to the hills as it's Rad's party on Saturday  ;D
