wrong squadron Jim. its 85sqn.......never flew lightnings.

And no idea ref the B 49, it was on the Mildenhall model club stand
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Alan from Aus phoned me yesterday to say how much he enjoyed the show and meeting up with everyone  :thumbsup: He also mentioned it was his 11th Anniversary of site membership. Prompted me to look mine up and I'm 11 in August. As it's on the 28th do I get another year at Junior School ?  :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

the RAF attacker [along with the spiteful and the flitzer] is mine. they are part of a bit of a RAuxAF thing i have going at the mo.

you are right, that USAF SEA camo'ed B-49 was very nice.
