Hi all,
Looking for some markings that I can use on a couple of TSR.2s for the GB and Sci-Fi GB over at UAMF.

First off, anyone have unused Spectrum decals (from the Airfix Angel Interceptor or other)?
Thinking this version may fit in both GBs.

Other need is for some EF-111 decals.  Picked up the old Monogram kit for this but the decals don't look like they will hold up.
This is the version I am thinking of.

Also need 4 AGM-88 HARMs for the load out.

Any and all help greatly appreciated and can reimburse shipping, etc. as needed (I am in the States).

Phil,

I'm pretty sure I have some extra Harm missiles I can send you. I might have some spark vark decals. I check tonight and let you know.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Thanks Ed.

By the way, you going to make the Nats this year?

The old Monogram decals are no good ? Which boxing ? What other kits would have similar markings.

Pretty sure this boxing was back when Monogram was having issues with their decals, white stuff, glossy, etc.  They might work in a pinch but would rather try better decals.

Think Hasagawa also did an EF-111 kit, ESCI, AMT, and Italeri all did one.  Revell rereleased the Raven and that boxing may have better decals.

There are some aftermarket decals out there (Superscale, Microscale, Model Decal) and I am watching one of the latter on Evilbay right now but is expensive for just using one set of markings.

OK I think that's the kit at my LHS. I think I know what decals you're talking about as well, like their old SR-71s had. Almost looked like stickers !

Just a note on the EF-TSR2, obviously the artist has just mated EF-111 components onto the TSR2 without any real understanding of the airframe. The fin is an all moving tail so its not likely to carry the large sensor in that location. The bomb bay is further aft on the TSR2, the ecm canoe in the drawing is to far forward and cover the Ram turbine panel that's fwd of the bay. The TSR2 actually had quite a bit of ECM sensors built into its airframe additional sensor arrays would likely be fitted onto the upper fuselage aft between the wing and the cockpit to make use of the large avionics bay just aft of the cockpit, the bomb bay and possibly a different sensor for the sideways looking radars below the cockpits.

Have a look for Modeldecal set 91 as that covers EF-111A's and should be relatively cheep from a US source.

Thanks Geoff,
The artist (Steve, aka FAR 148) has modified the backstory giving the US versions a different tail based on the defunct F-111 program.  Wondered about the canoe and will look at what is there.

I have some pics of an EF-111 that was at an airshow when I was much younger and they had the canoe opened showing the sensors.  If I actually get crazy enough, I may try this.  Course, probably won't get that one done in the GB guidelines but if it works out and you guys do end up with a TSR.2 display for SMW, maybe I can ship it (and its Spectrum mate if either actually gets done) over the pond for the show.

Phil I can do you two AGM-88's from Hasegawa Weapons set IV, but that is all I am afraid.
