RAF, Far East, defence of Malaya and Singapore?   RNZAF?  RAAF?  RSAF?  RCAF?  USAAF?

One of the above. but Whiffed almost out of existance.  ;D

Longer wings for that mysterious high-altitude version much whispered about in the Messes of the RAF?  ;D

kit couldn't possibly say so, but i'll bet it is!  ;D ;D

A Heyford with stretched wings?.....Go for it Kit!!....but you may need to use some of Spackman International 's  Unobtainium billets to make the main spars.

And what makes you think I DON'T have any of that in stock?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Alvis 3.14159

Two words: Droppable spats! (ok two more: Outer wing)

Alvis 3.1

Runway ? ...

This pos is an appalling shot of my Hey ten
One day I'll work how it lands.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Ooohh, is that a Hey-canard?

If so, I LIKE that!

Gondor

How about an all black Hayford as a night bomber?

Gondor
My Ability to Imagine is only exceeded by my Imagined Abilities

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

zenrat

According to my Encyclopaedia of Combat Aircraft the fabric was doped Night Bomber Green anyway.
But black does always look better.

Anyone suggested a Dambusters Heyford?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I do like your thinking
Inverted tail on the front and about an inch out of the fuse. Intended to be a (very?)heavy trench fighter with a couple of auto-loading Bofors as its big stick.
I think I'll have to use a quadracycle undercarriage (twin nose gear on the rudders) which makes me want to kill it with fire some days.
The plastic balances just before the leading edge of the main wing.

That thought has just reduced me to a heap of hysterical laughter!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Visions of such a Heyford returning to base from a training mission, over-cooking the descent rate and snapping off both main gears, the aircraft then continuing to land 'normally' by rolling across the airfield on the rotating bomb!

What about crossing Heyford with the Soviet TB.3, stretch the fuselage and fitting a broader single wing in place of the bi-plane wings ?

Something I came up with.

Now that, in a rather weird way, looks decidedly cute.
Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Wouldn't you more-or-less end up with the Hendon?
Or at the least Hendonesque? ;)
