A nice simple Whiff:
Vampire T.11 "Z" WZ590 of 606 (County of Oxfordshire) Sqn.  RAF Benson 1960.

I know it should be 606 Chiltern Sqn
But that didn't  sound right to me.

Sqn colours for those that are interested are Blue for the River Thames, Green for the
Beech woods and Downland that make up the area and the White for the Chalk that
Lies underneath it all.

Regards
Keith
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

VERY nice, I like that a lot.

You could put that on any other club stand and almost no-one would figure it for a Whiff.

I've a soft spot for T11 Vampires as one was the first jet I ever flew in, only year after your model.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Nice twin-boomer!
Is it an Eduard conversion kit on Airfix basis?
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Pretty! Simple and effective, and it even looks good.

NARSES2

Works for me

And as Kit says a lot would be wondering why it was on the WIF stand
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Steel Penguin

  nice one elegant and stylish,  and as said above if you hadn't said why its a wif id not know.
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
wow, its like freefalling into the Geofront

Thanks guys
For those who like to know:
The Dayglo decals came from the Matchbox/Revell Victor K2 Kit (if your careful you'll probably get two or three smallish aircraft out of one sheet)
The Sqn bars are made up from the Matchbox Hunter decals for 58Sqn
The kit it self is the Airfix Vampire T11 new mold.
And 606 Sqn?
The unit was formed in 1996 as the Helicopter Support Squadron, and gained its number three years later.
(They provide ground support personnel to the Joint Helicopter command)
I just gave it a bit of 'History'  ;D

Very nice ! The T.11 is one of those funny birds....somehow it looks right, yet somehow it looks wrong ! Having said that, she looks awesome in those colours and markings...nice idea and beauty execution !

Beauty! And my Mum was stationed at Benson, so, like Kit, I have a soft spot for this whif.
