I know pretty well the Macchi MC.202 but this title MC.402 seemed surprising. Of course, we are here to invent but what kit did you use as basis? With what story to make it Italiano if the souce is American for instance?
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

You should say F9F-5P by Revell/Monogram in 1/48.
IMHO the Panther with the elongated photo-recce nose has the best proportions of all Panthers.  :thumbsup:
