Dear all...I have attempted with a friend on here to find a pic of the rare and elusive IFR probe that the Sukhoi S-37/47 Berkut is alleged to be equipped with. My search turned up nothing....I've read it is equipped with one on the port side. I found a cutaway pic but that was a starboard view. Can anyone shed any light otherwise I will go with the advice I been given an base it on an Su-27 one. Many thanks.....H

I suspect it would look very similar to this one on a SU35:

I think that's a fair bet. This image here shows what I think is the front of the probe in the retracted position (left of the nose, next to the white square). However, it's CGI rather than a photo. Photos all seem to show smooth skin in that location. So possibly it was proposed but never actually fitted? Either way, the Flanker and the PAK-FA both have very similar IFR probe arrangements, so it's reasonable to assume the Berkut has/would have something much the same.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Many thanks for that Pyro.....it does it for me.....the Flanker style one is the way to go.....its in 1/144 anyhow....so its only really going to be an approximation......just wanted to know roughly where it was.......
