So the standard Star Trek Bird of prey in 1/650 is actually perfect for the K'Pak class scout/corvette/fighter/whatnot, in N-scale. It features a crew of 6(ish, I'm sure I could fit more in) and well, the neck is small, almost too small for the average human, much less the average Klingon. My theory is, that the corridor in the neck is either around 5' tall, or the size of a Jeffereys tube. Either way, it's definitely not big enough for a scale human to walk through, upright, or crawl through in a hurry/emergency. So, my conclusion is that it may be wide enough for two average beings to float through side by side, in Zero G. Anyway, the whiff about this is, the class name is technically not cannon and there is no official size, but according to the sizes described, the model fits correctly. Once I get my BoP repaired, I will be taking pictures. Sadly, there is no place big enough on my dad's layout for this thing to land on. So, I might have to make an improvised base for it if I were to do something of the sort. the underside color scheme is also not cannon.

Correction on my guess as to the corridor size, the entire neck a the smallest is a Scale 5' ish, at 1/170 its a little over at 5' 1.5" so needless to say that the corridor size is somewhat smaller. And the corridor width is 8 scale feet almost 9'.  Anywho, Tried to take pictures today, but someone decided it was better to be cloaked... :P

So the gravity plates in the corridor are mounted on the wall rather than the floor meaning the crew can walk upright down the neck but a bit of gymnastics is required at either end...

Or the thing is crewed by Klingon/Ferrengi hybrids...

So, while I was still working out how to make the wings more secure on my large model, I discovered not 1 but 2 Klingon BoP from the 3 (now 2) ship aggressor set, and set to work further "correcting" both ships. The original models did not have the warp/impulse drives in the stern, so I scratch built those, a long time ago. Not to mention they had a lot of gaps for the "moving" wings, I had also fixed that issue in the past. Well, needless to say they both needed more corrections and stands (having never gotten the originals). Well after getting the first one all said and done, I put a brushed on clear coat, that sadly, clouded up in a few areas on the model, SFD! So, back into the Simple Green it went tonight. The second is still getting its "corrections". But now I have stands for both, on the plus side.

So, both stands are now black, birth BoPs are base coated in green. After math class the detail work will start, pictures tonight, current and ( I hope) finished product.

Well, I was wrong, never was able to get those pictures uploaded on the 10th. Here those pictures are, will try to finish BoP tonight and take photos. BoP1 is almost finished, just needing 3 washes and a varnish, and BoP2 is waiting for detail work.

I remember making fun of that detail: Why not just stay in geosynch orbit over SFO and beam down?
That being said, I'd like to remind everybody in a manner reminiscent of the SNL bit on Julian Assange, that no matter how I die: It was murder (even if there was a suicide note or a video of me peacefully dying in my sleep); should I be framed for a criminal offense or disappear, you know to blame.

Holy Trek! I never did post the finished pictures!

Sorry guys! Also, these guys are not N-scale :P

I always thought they'd work as both the B'rel Class scout in 1/1000 and maybe the K'Vort Class cruiser in 1/2500??

Cheers

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
