there are some nice kits out there for warrior.
Just a shame the real thing is out of production there could have been some interesting variants.

Obvious ones
Mortar Carrier
ATGW
Ambulance

But with FRES recce vehicle being based on the ASCOD could CVRT have been replaced by a Warrior variant?

Weaver

They're still going to do the Warrior upgrade programme as far as I know, so there's scope to do that (40mm CTA gun).

:tank:  12 unbuilt airfix ones in 48th
and 4 built 1:50 resin ones from Imprint ( now Empress). wargames standard
so, maverick ATGM
Blue water carrier
AAA mounting a 30mm Avenger from an A10
Vertical launch ATGM system pod back
one ( at least) in berlin block paint scheme
load carrier
recon version, VL drone tube, extendable camera tower, lots of bushy cammo
tracked Rapier replacement
ADAT launcher
possibly an SPG
a Twilight 2000 groups mount, with trailer, gubbins, and enough garden gnomes to act as extra armour on the front quarter ( don't ask, I don't know why the players picked them up)
and possibly a few more as I come up with ideas.

Think I've got four or five Revell 1/72nd ones in the stash. My idea is to use then as the basis of the alternative WWII British tanks from Tony Williams' The Foresight War. The tanks in question are front-engined "1940s Merkavas" and it struck me that the Warrior looks a bit like an evolved version of the front-engined 1930s Vickers Medium, with it's multi-angled front and side door.

Various never-built warrior variants mostly posted on Twitter by @thinkdefence (well worth a follow). The 90mm was posted as a reply by @ronkainen7k15

Twitter post/thread here: https://twitter.com/thinkdefence/status/1583435987451281409?s=20&t=0dUSqHz2rio8iWF1lMNM2w

Resolution of some of the originals is poor and there are no details provided - sorry. Titles are therefore my guesswork.

ADATS SAM/ATGW system (a Canadian/Swiss joint project only ever bought by Cananda in limited quantities):

HOT ATGWs on Euromissile HOT Compact Turret:

Pretty sure this is a 105mm gun, but I can't ID the turret model:

Alternative autocannon turret (20/25mm?). I KNOW I've seen this turret before but I can't put my finger on it and it's driving me mad!  :banghead:
EDIT: turns out it's an Oerlikon KBB 25mm cannon in a Cockerill turret.

90mm Cockerill Turret:

And another one, this time with TRIGAT ATGWs on an elevation platform.

Okay, going to start new posts now 'cos the first one's getting long.

VERDI-2 Warrior technology demonstrator, with an uncrewed-turret, side-by-side crew citadel with identical workstations, integrated missiles, multi-sensor elevating mast, slew to cue, target recognition and even Dolby surround sound! The latter isn't a joke: microphones were supposed to pick up sound from around the vehicle to enhance crew situational awareness, but according to a reply from somebody who was involved, it didn't work because they couldn't filter out the sound from the pneumatic pump that ran the sensor mast.

VERDI -1 was an earlier trials vehicle with a normal Warrior turret, some of the electronics and the sensor mast, but without the 2-man crew setup.

GKN Defence Recce Variant (DRV) and Warrior 2000.

EDIT: The sand-coloured one had a similar Delco turret to the Desert Warrior but with a 30mm chain gun. Desert Warrior, bought by Kuwait, had a 25mm gun and 6 x firing ports for the infantry.
The one with the sensor mast was the recce variant: it was also shorter (five roadwheels instead of six).
EDIT: the cammo one with the pointy turret and angular gun shroud was Warrior 2000. Offered to Switzerland.

Well, we know a Cockerill gunned variant found a home with the Royal Australian Marines:

There's a 3D model of the SAML version available, from Dragon Badger Models:
https://dragonbadger.co.uk/product/warrior-sam-3d-printed-conversion-1-35/

You cannot view this attachment.

It looks a bit on the rough side, being printed on an FDM printer.
