When I worked for a customer in Lincoln I always stayed in a hotel to the south of the City and DEMANDED a room on the top floor (there were only two...) at the rear of the hotel. The reason was that it was around 200 yards north of the approach path to the Waddington 20 runway, the one where they pass LOW over the road, and I had some superb views of all sorts of aircraft.
