calling it VTOF-16 Tailsit Falcon
before reinventing today with other missing links.

And I may add another VTOL Falcon, working like the Ryan X-13 Vertijet:

Oooh the Vertijet! There's an aeroplane for you. 

Who'd have thought of hanging a whole aeroplane on a piece of string to enable it to take-off and land? 

I have two X-13 kits, and haven't built either of them yet.

I have discovered recently the F-16 DSI and I imagine a twin-jet version with 2 such large air intakes:

Of course, a long time before the DSI air intake came, there were F-16 versions with 2 or 4 jets in the fuselage:

I saw with Google a surprising F-16 partly hidden by a square... I keep it as a "different F-16"!


And in the country of the X-1 that broke the sound barrier, no need of air intake on the F-16, I think!
