Regarding your idea, that could probably be a very cool looking bird!  
But, on the other hand, sorry to say, but IMO, if the opponent is a 5th gen stealth fighter, no matter how much you try, you can't hide a 4th gen fighter from a 5th gen stealth platform, the 4th gen will be dead before they know there's enemies around.
That's based on what I've read and heard from fighter pilots who've flown 4thgen against stealth fighters so, not my words.
Still, your idea is very interesting and i think it's worth looking into.

sorry i meant an XL with a conventional twin tail assembly with canard foreplanes  a robust bubble canopy intakes for higher angles of attack while being used on forward facing rough field operations such lava ice snow sand swamps rivers oceans streams rough surfs grass fields mountains rocky cliffs volcanoes etc with removable robust ski undercarriage designed for heating much greater than the inside of a blue star & extreme cold with HESA Saeqeh style tails

Decades before the Saeqeh, the twin canting fins were like a trademark of the YF-17 Cobra/F-18 Hornet.

Add the horizontal tailplane add f-20 intakes and ride control vanes in addition to the canard foreplanes sestol (Super Extremely Short Off and Landing) fowler flaps and slats and there's the F-53 Swordsdragon a modern day air superiority fighter design to operate from forward facing rough field operations

Remember my designs on deviantart? How about creating an F-106 with f-16 parts from (horizontal tailplanes from the A & the wings from the XL) as a dogfighter removing the internal weapons bay would be replaced via self sealing fuel tanks protected via armor & grant 2 Giat 30 30mm cannons for encounters with fighters

But I have no F-106 basis as vectors for this software [Corel Draw Home 2019]. I could build such basis but this is going out of the F-16 subject I think.
