When I built my F-16C² (at https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=48060.0), there was a step where I hesitated what to do with extra tailplanes, and I considered using them as External TailPlanes like this:

Thanks for this idea, while... I fear the ventral air intake is impossible on a seaplane and much more modification would be required. Maybe I will try, thanks!
