All "transparent" kuppolas are now added, so next will be the landing legs.

Before my engineer goes into his end-of-year vacation, the latest of the Kaulquappe. Everything is in place now, but decals are missing.

After completing the Rebanien Plasma Cruiser (url]https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=48103.0[/url]), the next Rebanian spaceship:

When the Rebanians had their first contact with humans in 2127, they had their first interstellar ship under construction. Powered by an Io-drive, the ship was planned to fly to the next solar system, 2,5 light years away. With a top speed of 25% of light speed, the planned travel time was about 15 years.

This whip was much bigger than the Plasma Cruiser, a few of them were used as tender ship on board of the interstellar ship.

While the Plasma Cruiser was build in 1/700, this one now will be in 1/3000.

Main engine, fuel hub and reactor. The white parts are test prints with the FDM printer just for testing if they are constructed correctly. More details will be added to them.

Started to paint the main engines.

Continued with the Rebanian interstellar ship, most of the work was done on the engine section.

From top to bottom, there is the main engine, the fuel-hub with the four main tanks and the white part below it is the main reactor.

The main reactor with one of the heat radiators attached. This will be the only part of the model, printed with the FDM printer.

A partial test-print of the forward part of the ship with one of the two big hangar bays. A Plasma-cruiser (size 134 meter) has been docked. The test print is also made with the FDM printer as this is faster.

When the interstellar ship arrived at its destination, it needs some shuttles to land and explore the planets. This is one of them, about 50 meters in size. The "pin" on the top will be the docking connector. Although this should be on the interstellar ship, its easier to print and build it this way.

While some here choose to use giant jars of paint and glue to trick us into believing they produce tiny models, I think that what we have in this case is a modeller utilising an Ant-man suit to shrink themselves down instead.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yup, Dizzy's got his time machine and Nonobarr his ant man suit  ;)

A bit more work on the engines, the first of the auxiliary tanks have been added and the reactor now has several radiators attached:

Most of the work was not to complete the engine section of the interstellar ship.

It was planned to use it to fly from the planet Icin to the next solar system, 1,2 light years away. The projected travel time was 15 years.

As a comparison, i add a plasma cruiser in most pics, this one is 134 meter long.

The main engine is now done with all its main and auxiliary tanks.

Main engine connected to the reactor with its radiators:

Communication antenna to transmit messages over 1.2 light years:

Test print of a section of them core part of the ship with the docking facilities for a plasma cruiser. Two of them were on board.

Test print of the lower part of ship core with attached landing craft:

Two landing craft were on board:

Upper part of the core. On top the command section of the ship. Behind it the ecosphere. The blue torus will rotate to create a bit of gravity on the long voyage.

The main body of the "Uur-Ija" is now done, and i am currently working on various smaller details that have to be added. Was easier to print and paint it this way.

Size of it is about 20 cm, scale is 1:3000, so this would be a 600meter ship.
