Iranian Shkval destroyer and gunship

Based on the idea I posted to the bank a little while back, I decided to make a Shkval launching destroyer.  The idea was to create something that mass launches Shkvals in an attempt to overwhelm defenses.  Now the necessary closeness of range is an issue, and this is just not something that the Russians would do, so I went to the only other producer of Shkvals: Iran.  Then it started to click.  The idea would be a fast hull LOADED with Shkval launchers.  Other armament would be mostly self-defense.  Pictures will follow hopefully tonight, but the build is a German Z-39 destroyer, with most of the detail sanded flat.  The front gun is going to be a quad 57mm (http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNRussian_57mm-81_zif-71.htm), the back, a twin 57mm.  There are two AK-630M1-2 CIWS mounts, and then the fun stuff; 5 x 5 Shkval launchers.  Since the launcher for a Shkval is apparently a standard 533mm torpedo launcher, this meant I could make a truly goofy looking machine.  Pics to follow, along with some design work on her gunship escort.

As promised, pictures.  I added some more bits, and it looks nice and sleek imho.  There is now a boat deck, some gunnery radars fore and aft, a mast, nav radar, and a searchlight on the CIWS deck.

Reminds me of one of those large Japanese destroyers that had more torpedoes then you could shake a lambs tail at

That's good, it means I was doing my job then!    Those were my inspiration for the Shkval launching monster. 

I figure that the Iranian Navy is realistic enough to know they aren't going to steamroll a carrier group.  So this is an extension of the old cold war Soviet plan to overwhelm the defenses through sheer numbers.  The destroyers would be one part of a coordinated effort involving waves of FACs, airboats, etc.
