Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well to-day was day one (flying display) of this years Scottish Airshow at Prestwick.
The Flying takes place along the seafront at Ayr about three miles south of the airport.

Highlights for me were :

The BoB Tyohoon.

The Irish Historical flight plus Dragonfly. Ah! DeHavilland overload.

The Vulcan going past the vertical.

The Philips ST2 Speedtwin Comet 1, aerobatic twin.

The Draken.

The Saab J-29 Tunnan.

And, Sally B.

Here is the link to the whole album, please note that Photobucket has as usual reversed the order of most of the photos (some have just been put anywhere!).

Yes indeed. We were sitting on the sea wall and the beach (not to mention behind us on the large grass area (the low green) was pretty full of people sitting on chairs or blankets, and for most of the display that is how it  was.
Not when the Vulcan performed, the whole area was a mass of people on their feet. It was very moving.

...and here are the shots from to-days Static day at the Scottish airshow 2015.
Aircraft and vehicles both civil and military.
For me however the star was my first ever Saab Viggen.

How did the Viggen get there? Did it  fly in as well?

That's the JA-37 fighter version, isn't it?

That's the JA-37 fighter version, isn't it?

It is ,apparently, an AJS-37.
You will find out what that means here

Thanks Jim, I didn't look closely enough at the various pylons, sometimes the only to tell one Viggen from another.

Sorry Jim the fighter version is the JAS37
