Can't commit to it I'm afraid: still got no car and might still be looking on Sunday. Getting a handful of models to a show on the bike would be "interesting"......

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Narses, I get missing or off limits  when I try to use that link  weird
unless there are secret parts of the site im not allowed to see ( but that would mean id have to develop a level of paranoia that would be both unhealthy and detrimental, after all I know there are 1 or 2 boards for the site staff to thrash out site stuff on, and have no interest in seeing them,)

Nope there is also an exclusive section for IPMS UK What-if SIG members, where they can arrange show or SIG stuff without it being on a public forum. Also allows them to coordinate builds so they don't show up at SMW and fall out because somebody has come up with the same idea as you.

What a Charlie  :banghead:, apologies everyone. What throws me was that it was at the top of the board ??

Thorvic  I can see that pair of boards ( one UK, one US ) having got an IPMS card and having given through Martin  some cash for the site last time the hat was passed its what I assumed,  ;)  and as I said I know theres a mods board, as mods have said it exists, and they use it for the mystical stuff mods do, ( debugging, bandwith discussions, domain name reg renewal, etc) and as such I have no need, desire, or reason to have access to it.
though the tread for the midlands expo last year is http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,37155.0.html
ends tread 37155.0  not the thread 37392.0 that Narses link is too ( and at that I pass it to the mysteries of the mods board to sort out  ;D  )

Howard of Effingham

it was a good but VERY warm show [not much in the way of aircon and most folk were wilting visibly] and the cafe
did a nice line in bacon sarnies....

OGL did take some photos of the stand and the wiffs elsewhere at the show. he was also seen buying a 1/72 B-36
peacemaker as well.....

Well, that's one way to approach the 'two models' limit for the SMW display  ;D
