Someone told me, I think it was an Air-Britain member, that any of these old RAF aircraft were usually made in-operable when sold off and not going to another air force, by having the main spar sawn through

I find it interesting that one or other of the countries that are now operating Harriers didn't win the bid on it ------

But I think the clue is "is in almost flight-worthy condition"
