F-8 Crusader 1/48 With Variable Geometry Wings

Hello, I'm here again.

I'm starting a 1/48 project, a Monogram's F-8 Crusader with the wings replaced with a set of VARIABLE GEOMETRY WINGS.



The wings will come from an old ESCI 1/48 Tornado:

THIS looks great - melikes. I wonder if the Tornado is not a bit too wide for the F-8? Maybe a MiG-23/27 could be an easier donation transplant...? (what makes me consider buying a cheap F-8 in 1:72, I have a surplus Academy MiG-23 somewhere stashed away...!)

Today done the fundamental job on the Crusader: glued on it the wings taken from the Tornado.





now will come the hardest part, to level the added wing's group to the existing fuselage of the Crusader, not impossible but I foresee a hard work.

Nice ! Looks way better 'in person' than it does in the drawing ! Long, sleek and fast ! Can't wait to see more.
