Hi all,

Does anyone have the December 2010 of Airfix Model World (the first very issue with the Sea Vixen on the front) and would be willing to scan an article for me?  I had the issue but I can't kind find it anymore, it's probably been thrown out by accident.

The article I'm after is the build of the Airfix 1/76 Mark I Female Tank.  It's done in the Solomon scheme, with the large patches of colour in a garish finish.

I've got the issue with the more recent article on the Male Tank from November 2013.

Thanks for looking,

Simon.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

My early issues are now in storage I'm afraid  :banghead:

There are a lot of images of the scheme on line, both of real world examples and built models. Any use or is it something more specific to the article ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I think I do and will check when I get home tonight.  Will confirm either by a reply or a PM.

What if... I had a brain?

Thanks guys, Mr Creak has sorted me out. Cheers for the help.

Chris, it's specifically the article I'm after. I remember it was finished very well.  The scheme  is the early Solomon pattern, large splotches bordered in black in vivid shades of green and pink and ochre.  On arrival at Flers, most if not all were repainted in more muted colours. Not sure if I'll go for the bilious or sobre scheme, but I did like the way the modeller blended the colours together.
