I downloaded the KSP demo, but even that runs jerkily on my PC so I have serious doubts about my ability to run the full program, let alone the program plus any of the fun add-ons. I do like watching Scott Manley's KSP videos on youtube though.

You know what annoys me?  When I sew my finger to the tank track I'm sewing together.*  Didn't even feel the needle go trough the side of my finger either.   


*I sew tank tracks together.  It is more secure than any other method I know of and it also allows me to make the track "hang" correctly on the vehicle by sewing the upper and lower runs of track together, behind the roadwheels.

I used to use that method back when I was a kid with the original Airfix releases. Only time my mum ever got involved with my modelling, it was always to "smelly and to dirty" for her.

Yep, done that. If you want one that you WILL feel as it goes through your finger, try repairing leather bike gear with waxed cotton thread, a needle you could pole-vault with and so much pressure that you need a thimble and it hurts your shoulder after ten stitches....

Phone calls.  How do they know I have one hand holding glued parts together while the other tries to get clothes pegs to grip it?

I have developed an entire series of "answers":
- an horrible scream, trying to break their ears
- starting an enrollment speech for the european section of Klu-Klux-Klan
- a death gurgle, if I am in a nice mode
- a pervert heavy breathing, followed by "are you alone, my little dear..."or similar
- others that I am not able to translate meaningfully in english

apart from just starting to call them the most foul names I can think of at the moment
