Delta Winged F-5F Tiger II

I was Thinking if there was a variant of an F-5F but with Delta Wings like the Mirage 2000 fighter jet. And it would be in the US Marines. What do you think?

How about an F-20 or X-29 version? Marking possibilities are endless.

But a more simple/earlier design (e .g. with Mirage III wings) should also look cool, I also have already thought about such a kitbash.

Same question here! Looks very good, though, the cranked delta suits the slender fuselage well!

BTW, the wings on my conversion are composites: inner wings from a MiG-21, outer wings from a F-4. Looks like a F-16XL wing, but is considerably smaller.

Wow awesome! But I was Imagining the delta winged F-5 with 2 jet exhausts like the regular F-5 Tiger has, and The Delta wings would be like this.

How about canards up front? Maybe just small ones like the B-1.

I would have to do something with the canopy. I always thought the F-5 canopy was too flush with the fuselage for a real dogfighter.

Like I need another project!!!!

How about mounting at least part of the F-5 wings to delta inner wings like the CL-1200 Lancer development of the Starfighter.
