Has anyone here abandoned their Siga FJ-1 Fury build, I'm looking for the fuselage, cockpit parts and nose gear from the kit.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Nick

I've never heard of Siga! I do have an old Pegasus FJ-1 which I built as Canadian Navy, you can have that as it's broken.

I've got one as well, I think. Built it RCN as well, if we're talking of the same aeroplane. Mine was built a 'flyer', so if I can find the landing gear etc. in the spares box....

I don't seem to have put it on the site for some reason... If I find it I'll put a pic up.

Slightly worried I don't have it any more. I'll have to search when I get home. It could be somewhere in one of several boxes or possibly I binned it?

Your's is an FJ-4 Cap'n, the last of the Fury breed, but I think Robert's looking for bits from an FJ-1, the straight winged version, and that's a bird of a different feather.

I keep forgetting about the FJ-4 and I really like the look of it. I've also got an Emhar kit of it in The Loft somewhere, hmmmmm.....
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Jim -- got it thanks and replied.
Nick -- replied to yours too.
Todd -- I might take you up on the u/c bits, especially the nose gear

Yes Kit is correct, it is the straight winged Fury FJ-1 I'm after.  I've also got the Emhar FJ-4B kit, two of them in fact, one is built while the other I was planning to use the wings on a F-86D/K ---

A hint of what I'm up to --- I'm on an F-82 kick at the moment -----  ;)

I love the sound of that

Ohhhh!  Bring it on  A twin fuselage straight wing F-84 would look great also.  Or maybe a Banshee so Captain Canada would have one for the BONAVENTURE.
