Howdy folks ! Here's a few pics.

And this is a second one, I'm thinking bomb doors open and wings folded.

That's looking great! Will the gear be all the way down or partially retracted?

Do you have to cut the wings and scratch up the hinges? That would seem to be some togh work, with the double fold.

Thanks guys !

The gear will be fully down, posed for an 'about to trap' look.

I'll have to cut the wings, but that will be easy enough, and I'm not the world's biggest stickler for making the wing fold true to the original, just bash it together and doll it up with a few wee bitys !

Gannets are good.  I'll be watching this closely as I've got a few ideas for some Canadian Gannets.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

McColm

Ever thought about the Alize as an alternative?

Captain Canada

No. Too ugly  I have thought about adding the wing pods to a Gannet tho !

I didn't realise stubby holders existed outside of the Australian sphere of influence (obvious really, where there are chilled drinks there are hands that need to be insulated from them).

Gannets have always struck me as particularly unattractive aircraft.  I must get one...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Cooly cups we call them. Yanks call them coozies. Dual purpose. Keeps the beer colder longer in summer, and insulates the hand in the colder months !

I wonder where they were invented?  I suspect all 3 nations (and New Zealand) will claim them.
They used to be made from expanded polystyrene but neoprene seems to have become ubiquitous (apart from novelty versions - I have a couple made from aluminium to look like beer kegs).

I have an iceblock bottle cooler which is like a stubby holder but with built-in cold pads. It lives in the freezer and comes out to keep beer bottles cold on a hot day. Trouble is it also freezes your fingers!

Nice Gannet there!

Captain Canada

lol....and thanks Nick ! Might have some pics up tonite.
