Didn't the USNavy version have the radome fitted above the cockpit?

scooter

One version had it above the cockpit-

But all the other photos I've seen had it below, like this one-
The F-106- 26 December 1956 to 8 August 1988

If you can find one, RVHP made a conversion set to do both of those PB-1W's
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Great photos, I was thinking of adding the radome to the top of a B-29 or B-50 in the Maritime Patrol role or AEW due to the ground clearance.
A jet version of the B-29 is possible but I was going to change the wings.

The very same fitted and please feel free to correct me, as used by the Avro Shackleton, Guardian and Avenger.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I'm sure there is a list on page 7.

Scooter, appreciated. I was lucky enough to work on it in the early 80s, 2nd line on 8sqdrn at Lossie.
