No big back story for this one, indeed no back story ! I just fancied putting the new Airfix 1/72 Blenheim in different colours. So here we have Blenheim Mk I of the 3rd Air Regiment Belgian Air Force based at Aeltre May 1940.

As I've said in my blog it's a very good kit, well up to Airfix's current standards, well recommended. I just had a few "moments" with it, purely down to me, so I'm not entirely happy with how it came out. However lessons learned, hopefully, for the other 2 I have in the stash  :thumbsup:

love it, would have been loads better then the Fairey Battle's Belgium had at the time  :thumbsup:

Pretty darn good Chris, and it Belgian colours do suit it, even if they are RAF ones originally.  :thumbsup: :bow:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Chris, going to Whiff the other two? If so, I have a suggestion for both, Norway and Republican Spain. :P

Nice one Chris. She certainly looks the part ! Always a fan of Belgian roundels.I like the bomb bay open and the yeloow bombs.....that's a nice touch !

One will be real world, pre-war RAF and the other will be Wif. I must admit I hadn't thought of Norwegian but it's well and truly in my thoughts now  :thumbsup:
