Another set of fences on the SU-105/F-22.

I don't need a mechanic, I need to hire a cowboy to ride these fences!

I tried out the Perfect Plastic Putty I picked up yesterday.

Sands easily and easy to work with. I cut off the tip on the nozzle supplied as small as possible. This allowed me to lay in a small amount at the joint between fin and body of the spaceship. I smoothed it with my finger tip in to a nice fillet. I think if I had used a wet cloth or Q tip I could have cleaned this up better. As it was, there was very little sanding required. I had to order it from a Hobbytown store. You can get it on line but the shipping doubles the price. It was a good excuse to hit the hobby store. This doesn't replace all the filling materials I have but its a great addition to the tool box.

It was late and I didn't feel like messing with it any more.

I had to order it from the Hobbytown store. Websites had it but the shipping was too much. I also filled a seam at the wing root of the F-105 by applying the PPP with the applicator and smoothing it with my finger. A little sanding was all it took.

Some very interesting work... you've gone and gotten the gears turning in my own mind about an alternative concept to doing an Su-22 with side intakes like that... I'm thinking Mirage, personally...

I had to prime with dark ghost grey as my light ghost grey gave up the ghost. another good reason to go to the hobby shop.
