Right colour balance altered and I've gone through the process again so hopefully better now.

Thanks again for showing me how to adjust it Weaver

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Is The Wooksta's Defiant OOB or one of his ultra-subtle whiffs?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

It's got Bomber Command camouflage basically. You can't see the black undersides in the pic

I wondered just how he'd wiffed it on the day and couldn't work out how. however when Narses2 posted his photos it was easy to see.

The Wooksta!

Other than the scheme and the decals, it's out of the box.

I'd had the idea of using the Defiant as a trainer for turret gunners, though really I should have picked a Halifax squadron rather than Lancasters.  I've another one part started that will be a lot more colourful.

Nice to know I'm getting a reputation for subtlety!

Was that Swift the new Airfix one as well ? I didn't see it perched atop the box like ol' quick draw McWooksta's Defiant

It was nice too to see the members from my model club, IPMS Langley Moor chating to people from other clubs, think the shock of shows is wearing off from them and they are enjoying it more.  ;) ;D

You mean they're getting away from their "local shows for local people" mentality?   ;D

Yes.  i'd gone for placing the Defiant over the box lid to do a dummy run for something I'd suggested for this year's Telford display, the idea mooted seems to quite popular.

The silver "ufo", the first pic in the phase two post, is another one of mine.  This is the Atlantis 64th scale "Adamski UFO.

That, plus realizing that there are other people with the same interests and that there's nothing wrong with going behind other peoples club stands to talk to them.  ;) ;D ;D

Don't tell me: you made the port holes 0.5mm bigger and painted it a slightly different shade of silver, right?  ;)

Nice models BTW.
