The 'Helpful Hints' are a load of cobblers and just go to show they don't know their own business.

In our small bit of the eBay world, selling and buying model kits, the number of pseudo private sellers who are almost businesses in the number of kits they sell per month is rising by leaps and bounds. Almost all of them only sell with 'Buy it Now' prices, the auction bit is missing entirely!

I won't go along with the stupid '99p' business either, my stuff starts off in whole numbers of pounds!

Well I must admit I do do the "£9.99" thing (with gritted teeth), because my thinking is that if people are searching in a price bracket, it guarantees your auction gets caught by their search. I've no actual evidence that it works, however.
