With the purchase of 2 ex-USN non-nuclear carriers to replace the obsolete Ark Royal and Eagle, a deal was made to purchase both new and used USN aircraft to boost the FAA's strength.
Part of the deal was 2 Sqn's of A-7's taken from storage.  Both the government and the FAA assumed they would be receiving the later A-7E, or at least D model, but when they arrived, they turned out to be the underpowered A model.
An immediate improvement program was undertaken to re-engine them with Speys and equip them with the RN's latest weapons.

Looks great!  Like the Sea Eagle choice.

May look even better in natural light.

So which 2 carriers did they buy- Essex class?  Midways? Forrestalls?  Like the US, I could see A-7's for the smaller Essex/Midway.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

And I like your FAA 2 seater Crusader! Very droolworthy.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
