Everytime I scroll down past the Lun box art I think "hmmm, shark mouth".
If only I had one in the stash...

...oh wait, I do.  ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

My thoughts exactly!   If only this had come out way earlier when I could have used it for my USS Louisiana MONTANA battleship build. But.........too late now. :(
But would it really be wide enough to hold a modern CVN carrier? Doubtful.

I was wondering if an Audacious or a 27C Esssx would fit
I'd think so, composite photo of Intrepid after SCB-27C (left) and SCB-125 (right) modification programs.

And it seems Takom is scaling down the ABSD-1 to a more manageable 1/700 scale under the Snowman Models label

Now...who does a 350th Audacious or SCB125 Essex?

TAKOM is at it again. This time with a 3-pack of 1/350 scale Haunebu flying saucers.
You get all 3 together. The Haunebu I, Haunebu II, and the Haunebu III.
All in 1/350 scale.
I am very tempted to buy this kit whenever it comes out. ;)
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

At least one of them in  1426 flight RAF Farnborough livery, with Eric (Winkle) Brown's initial enemy aircraft assessment report as a backstory might serve to amuse!

One idea put forward on BtS (half mine) is a diorama with the Haunebus (Haunebi? ) I & II parked on the deck of an Essex-class carrier, with the Haunebu III being towed by said carrier (possibly on a barge, possibly not).

if your towing a haunebu with an aircraft carrier it has to be floating behind  like some kind of balloon or kite  ;D

That floating dry dock would certainly be fun to see in a big diorama.

You could do something similar, but with it being refuelled instead of towed.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
