Or I suppose you could paint the Zumwalt in sand type colors and put Egyptian markings on it. The Egyptians sure do love their "pyramids".  ;D
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

I already pre-ordered one from my local hobby shop.
I got a $50 gift certificate from a friend to my LHS, so I know what I'll be spending it on.  ;D

I did say a BIG gun turret..............  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Well it's already got two 6-inch guns. How about a honking great fixed gun sticking out of the superstructure as per the M class submarines?

Exactly my point, 2 x 6 ins guns hardly count on the GUNship front, do they?

By modern standards it's a battleship. Next heaviest gun armament I can think of off-hand is on the Russian Sovremennys, which have two twin 130mm (about 5.1").

Except, in OTL, the Sovremennys at least have ammunition.  Unlike the AGS, with its proprietary ammunition type prevents the Navy from drawing on USMC/USA 155mm ammo stockpiles.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Advanced Gun System (AGS) is a naval artillery system developed and produced by BAE Systems Armaments Systems for the Zumwalt-class destroyer of the United States Navy. Designated the 155 mm/62 (6.1") Mark 51 Advanced Gun System (AGS),[1] it was designed to provide long range naval gunfire support against shore-based targets. A total of six of the systems have been installed, two on each of the three Zumwalt-class ships. The Navy has no plans for additional Zumwalt-class ships,[2] and no plans to deploy AGS on any other ship. AGS can only use ammunition designed specifically for the system. Only one ammunition type was designed, and the Navy halted its procurement in November 2016 due to cost ($800,000 to $1,000,000 per round), so the AGS has no ammunition and cannot be used.[3][4][1]

What is the cost of a 155mm artillery shell? Or 5" or 4.5"?

According to the below link, XM1113 rounds for the M777 towed and M109 series SP 105 howitzers has a unit cost between 14 and 15 grand per shell.

The cost increase in the AGS rounds was mainly due to the reduction in the number of hulls from 34 to 3, which meant that the steep development costs (there were rocket-assisted and guided) were now going ot be amortised across WAY fewer rounds.

Snoman Models, in collaboration with TAKOM, is coming out soon with a 1/350 scale USS Zumwalt kit. Frankly, I don't see how this model can be whiffed that much, but who knows?
