For my birthday yesterday, my little sister offered me a Vought Corsair F4U5 Revell 1/72nd fighter model... I will turn it into the F4U14-1 high-wing asymmetric racer...

Below is the intended principle of my transformation. The goal is just to have fun, not to win Reno race nor a beauty contest...

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

Wow. Crazy cool ! Look forward to seeing how you add the wing and engine.

It could work as a biplane, too, if you happen to have a suitable extra wing.

if I remember well, our friend Alvis 3.14 built such a biplane Corsair, with M and W wings one upon the other... This was a marvel, my one will be worse, for sure.

My dear Tophe, we seriously need to get you and Burt Rutan together! I like where you're heading with this.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Tophe

Thanks for your jokes, while... Scaled is designing uncommon aircraft that can fly, and I prefer crazy aircraft impossible to fly... There would be no order at all from pilots/companies/armies.

Before butcherizing starts, I built it normally with my 5 year old son Jacky-Jemsey:
