Another one in my stash, this time it's the Kinetic F-16D block52+ in 1/72 from Model Hobbies in the UK.

Into the LHS today for some new brushes, and another Wyrd box caught my eye, the"Pigapult". Which, according to the box contents, consists of:

"A Big Fat Pig.
Something to Lob said Pig."

That tickled me, so it got bought. Quite a small model in quite a big box, but hey ho. It's a weird goblin type creature and a trebuchet, which has a rather large and distinctly unimpressed-looking trussed pig in the basket. 😁

I demand pics! That sounds hilarious!

Yesterday I got a lovely package from long-time WhIf member and online friend RotorheadTX:
sealed blister-pack Airfix 1/72 Auster Antarctic
sealed blister-pack Airfix 1/72 Scottish Aviation Bulldog
and, the main reason for the package and my excitement, a loose but complete-except-for-two-parts Aurora 1/72 Cheyenne that's going to be whiffed. I didn't expect it to be so big, the fuselage is longer than a DH Mosquito!!!

Gondor

Received from ebay today

1 x 1/72 scale Hasegawa Ju88G-6 might do this straight out of the box as several versions of radar fit can be built from it and I have another that may well be a whiff.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Many more trips to that store and you'll need a trailer for the homeward trip Cap'n.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Looking for a birthday present in Hobbycraft, came out empty handed but got myself a little something instead!

Airfix 1/72 A-4B Skyhawk starter set, knocked down to £8 as it was missing it's paints.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

A HUMA Me 209 V5. No idea yet, was cheap (EUR 8,-), might receive a different engine - maybe one of the leftover Lancaster or Lincoln Merlins?

Picked up a Tamiya Do335 off the Bay so my parts list for the GB is now complete. Seriously thinking of getting a Verlinden update set for it but with one week to build in..... :banghead:.

Would really like to get a 1/32 JU87A kit and build for real....my favourite mark of Stuka, just love those large spats and early splinter camo.

At Southern Expo today I bumped into Chris and Martin, whence we had a little chat. I did say the only thing I planned on buying was lunch  ;) but then I spied a bargain...

1/72 Emhar F3H Demon for the princely sum of £3
A machine I've kind of liked for its almost non-existence in US Navy history but leading to better designs, being a poor performer with weak engines and short range.
It was so poor that when they added two large fuel tanks the range actually decreased

Thinking of Extra Dark Sea Grey over White, like the Scimitars. Need to find appropriate RN markings.

Librarian

Completely forgot about that :banghead:. Academic really as I'm practically housebound at present. Managed a short walk up the pavement and back so little by little....

Very much agree with you. I've a couple of the Special Hobby early Stuka's in the stash. One will definitely be Hungarian
