From the Heiden show:

- Revell 1:24 Bentley 4.5 litre blower
(to be fitted with a Merlin, of course)

I just found an Airfix 1:24 Mustang for a reasonable price on an auction site, so that's going to serve as an engine donor.

Mustang has arrived, now to find time to cast some copies of the engine for various purposes...

Got a delivery from Plastic Past Times via ebay today, Revell G0229 & Do335A-1 (the Dragon rebox). Both for stash filling rather than any plan.

I had a delivery in Salisbury yesterday at a shop that just happened to be located next to Salisbury Model Centre.

An Airfix 1/144 Vickers Vanguard flew out of the shop and into the cab of my truck.

So checking to see how frequently your customer has deliveries ?  ;)

hmm, feeling very happy after breaking the back of an essay yesterday I went to antics in cov' on the grounds that I needed a tub of humbrol 78 [cockpit green] but also came away with a

1/35 dragon or zvzeda Russian FS AFV [the newish one that looks a bit like a cross between a BMP and an MCV80]

the confusion is mine, but this one is wiff fodder! :)

(Unexpectedly) Won some more ev!lbay auctions, where I only placed a minimum bid and left them alone...
- a Revell G.91 (the Tiger Meet boxing)
- a Novo Supermarine Attacker (for the wings... )
- a Matchbox Boeing P-12E
- an MPM Ki-64

McColm

For £25 on eBAY 1/72 Dassault Br1150 Atlantic,
Will add the jet auxiliary pods from the Lockheed Neptune and spin top from the Heller Grumman E-2C kit.
If I can get hold of the Falcon vacform C-2 Greyhound conversion kit, I'll use the E-2C parts. If not an MR version of the Hawkeye.

And after receipt of said kits, all will wind up going into a box and after a week or so of "shake and bake" result in yet another truly awesome Dizzyfugu™ creation

Off eBay an Academy 1/72 B-29A Superfortress 'Bocks Car'

Yeap I know i'm supposed to be creating space and not back filling it, and yes I did just get rid of a KB-29 for that reason, but this kit has both the 'Little Boy' and 'Fat Man' TNBs, which could lead to some interesting builds in the future.

Got the Gannet AEW on pre-order with Hannants so that should arrive next month, but after that apart from the odd Airfix kit I shall keep spending down till the end of the year so as to give focus to my SMW builds, as I have a few of those to do.
