i was planning on ordering the 1/72 Su-27SM, but seemed a bit pricey at 25 euro's (can get the trumpeter version cheaper localy).
could get it cheaper in local stores once the kit is in full circulation.

Picked up from the Post Office today for use with my 1/500 Space Battleship Yamato I'm currently building:

Mechanical Chain Base # 3   Though the missile trailer is a bit too large to use. I'll have to scratchbuild a smaller one.

Also recieved:

http://freetimehobbies.com/1-700-black-dog-transport-containers-with-staff-figures/?page_context=category&faceted_search=0

But the Black Dog transport containers w/ figures was a mistake.  :banghead: I thought the containers would be resin parts, but they're not. They're photoetch that you have to bend.  :banghead: Forget it. I'm not using them. I'll donate the Black Dog product to my local model club charity auction next week instead.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

On ebay: a dead cheap Academy/Minicraft 1:144 B-58 (lends itself to a scale-o-rama conversion...) and an 1:72 Emhar F-94C.

Another Heller 1/72 Grumman E-2C Hawkeye
1/72 Shin Meiwa PS-1/US-1
If I use the Attack Squardon 72036 correction set for the C-130J engines, nacelles and spinners. I can use the propellers from the Italeri C-130J to create a ES-2K AEW & C  "Sea Lion" amphibious aircraft. I'll use some of the parts supplied by Gondor as well.

The Evil Kit-Finder General (aka Thorvic) was kind enough to send me a 1/72 Italeri T-45 Goshawk.

I've just been presented with a Revell 1:1200 scale Titanic as part of a birthday  present.  I can visualise a dazzle painted WW1 trooper, a depot ship in Scapa Flow or even a mid-1920's Armed Merchant Cruiser with a catapult on the stern and a couple  of CMBs on the lifeboat davits.  There may possibly be a back-story ready in time for the Civilianise/Militarise it GB,  but no model.

If anyone wishes to use  this concept  themselves, please accept it as a present from me!!!

More believable if it was a fourth Olympic class ship, ordered to replace Titanic.

Incidentally, the second White Star liner to be named Oceanic - for which the keel had been laid in Belfast in the early 30s and was their answer to the as then unfinished Cunard Queen Mary - was the fourth Olympic class ship, although largely modified externally.  There's built models elsewhere on t'nterweb.  Not as visually aesthetic as Olympic or Titanic though.

My fourth Olympic would have been named Oceanic and was to have been an aircraft carrier conversion towards the end of WW1.  I did plan on using a 700th Titanic for the hull and a Graf Zeppelin or similar carrier in 700th for the deck and a fair bit else.

Oh, kits.

Ebay - enough Airfix Dalek spares to build a pair of Daleks.

From the show during today's set up - two Heller Spitfire XVIes.
