I just bought the 2nd of my three 1/350 ships;
Trumpeter Prinz Eugen Heavy Cruiser 1945 - to be done as an Australian war prize, via the US & at least one major refit, probably ca. 1965-1975 but maybe later.

Of course, it could take me 10 years to get to "him", too.

Already have the Trumpy Arleigh Burke class The Sullivans - to be modified & Australian.

Just need the Gallery Models/MPC USS Intrepid CV-11 Angled-Deck Carrier, now.

Tamiya 1/24 MB 300SL, the latest in their 1/24 Sports Car series. Gorgeous kit.

http://www.tamiyausa.com/items/plastic-model-series-20/1-24-scale-sports-car-8000/mercedes-benz-300sl-24338

There was one of those on show at Telford last year, and what a MAGNIFICENT model it is! I've got the ancient FROG/AMT 300SL kit and that's amazing, specially as it's 40+ yrs old now, but the Tamiya kit is just jaw dropping!

Speaking of 40+ year old kits, today arrived my 1/72 Monogram F7F Tigercat from France via Ebay... Its the 1967 Box which makes it exactly 48 years old and 12 years older than i am.  ;D

You mean Prinz Eugen got a reprieve from Bikini Atoll  :thumbsup:

Built that a year or so ago as a FAA aircraft. Thoroughly enjoyed it  :thumbsup: It's on here somewhere

An Academy F4U-1D in 1:72. Recently saw a Soviet Land Lease "variant" (profile designed by PantherG, IIRC), and I like this odd idea/look. Black Fleet Naval aviation, as an escort fighter for A-20 torpedo bombers.  ;D

Thorvic

Received from Hannants a pair of their new xtradecal 1/72nd Sea King HC4 decals sheets. Designed for the Airfix kit which is due out in December ?  :blink:, but a handy source for Junglies especially Whiff ones  :thumbsup:, the set has various RN Junglies together with a Raspberry Ripple and an Egyptian one.

Well since the intention is for one of mine to be Luftwaffe, it'll have to be a multi-national evaluation squadron, like the one they did for the Kestrel... :wacko:

Are all yours the early boxing with the tailplanes missing on the artwork and one of the Red Top fins short-shot? Mine are... :rolleyes:
