The Eastern Express P-63s arrived, and I must say that I am positively surprised. Nicely detailed, just very fine, raised panel lines. Cannot say much about fit, but even that does not look bad at all!

1/200 Italeri Lockheed C-141B Starlifter, AWACS springs to mind.

The Wooksta!

Not in Newcastle - the Hornby concession in Fenwicks didn't have them today.

Two airfix swifts from halifax modlers world via ebay. One more on the way from the same sourse and another three coming direct from airfix.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

From AJ's (son of TAHS) this afternoon - all 1/72:

  • Hobbyboss A-7P Corsair II
  • Italeri MC.202 Folgore
  • Airfix Hs129
All for real-world builds.  The Hs129 was a steal at £1.99, and AJ's are running a 25% off counter sale discount on all Italeri kits, so it seemed rude not to get something!

Coming soon Arrived in less than 24 hours from eBay - Meng Fiat G.91 (essentially half-price).
Coming soon from Hannants - Xtradecal Fiat G.91 sheet

Oooh, may get one at RIAT tomorrow.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Isn't that a bit excessive?

 its the 1/25 Ghostbusters estate/station wagon kit. Thought it would be an ideal donor for a dormobile/campervan conversion. Could use the decals on my other builds.

NARSES2

From Airfix a Swift  Be the only one I get (Hannants sold out already I think ? ) and will be 112 Sqd in Aden marked up as a commemorative aircraft, so that tells you the scheme  ;D

Not sure when this will go into production however as I've already pulled the next 4 for the bench from the stash
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

DogfighterZen

Just arrived from Bigcat.com.pt, 2 decal sheets of Portuguese air force squadron markings from Colorado Decals, and a Revell 1/72 Mig-21 F-13, what a beautiful kit...
