In Abergavenny market yesterday, one of the "Friday market junk collectables stalls" had sundry very elderly Airfix kits, and a HUGE box  containing an AMT-ERTL kit of an XB36......"with extra parts to build a  YB36!!"

Didn't look at the price, but most of the other stuff on the stall was reasonably priced.  Should I have pounced on it??  It's not really my sort of thing, and too big too for my shelf.

Didn't look at the price, but most of the other stuff on the stall was reasonably priced.  Should I have pounced on it??  It's not really my sort of thing, and too big too for my shelf.

Shouldn't that be XB-35 etc. the Northrop Flying wing?

AFAIK the only 'One true scale' B-36 was by Monogram/Revell. And the B-35 box sure is big, not helped by the fact that most of the model is only two parts, top and bottom!

No probs. Having just built my Northrop Northampton B(PR)1 the darn thing's foremost in my mind.
