That "Tamiya" F18 won't be the quality you may be expecting!  It's the Italeri tooling - they have/had an agreement with Italeri to rebox the latter's kits for the Japanese market and some of them have escaped into the wild.

I'd already read about it in reviews, it seems that quite a few of Italeri's kits were sold on tamiya's boxes. But in fact, i really wanted it more for the weapons, specially the slam-ers, which are hard to find in 1/72, but the kit itself is useful, it's probably going to end up with different wings...
But thanks for the warning anyway, might not have known about it, reviews were hard to find.

Italeri 1/72 Mig 29 reboxed as Tamiya is one of the best in that scale apparently.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The Italeri kits in Tamiya boxings are often less expensive that the original Italeri boxing.

Yesterday I bought an Italeri (Tamiya box) Tornado F.3
2 x Airfix BP Defiant.
All 1/72nd of course.

Steel Penguin

went to the triples wargames show in Sheffield yesterday so more lead in the pile
from Black Scorpion   3 packs of lady pirates and 2 packs of elven ones
from ground zero games 3 transport starships,
from northumbriantinsoldier  the 5  teddy bear characters they do  ( I have no idea what there for, I just thought they were so out there, I had to get them)
fromsteam forged 3 of the guild ball mascots, the raven  the sea otter and the cat,  for wizards familiers and stuff
crooked dice   the scientific advisors pack ( not lady unit chars from the matt smith cyber / female master episodes)
Empress miniatures, 4 packs of modern New Zealander's    from the Afghanistan range they do, but perfect for UNIT and near future games
Mrs Steel Penguin got 4 of the 4ground fantasy houses,  and more dice
so a reasonably good day

That's the main reason why i bought the Tamiya boxed kit, it cost me 10£, shipping included, while the cheapest Italeri i've found was around 18£...
I've had the Mig-29 back in the early 90's in my first incursion into the modelling world so i'll probably get one in the near future just for the trip down memory lane... that along with a Hasegawa EA-6 Growler, Esci Montana ANG F-16 and another of Italeri's old kits, the F-14A Plus, that's all i had before BMX bikes came along...  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Spontaneous, for parts donations, because I threw the original concept for the next project over board - historical facts call for different transplantations...  ;)

From Hannants:

Hasegawa 1/72nd F-106A Delta Dart (discounted to £8)
Pavla 1/72nd MB Mk.8 ejector seat
Montex 1/72nd cockpit mask for the Hobbyboss Sea Hawk

The bang seat is going in the Sea Hawk too, since it's one that got upgraded in the late 1970s.

Very nice.  Could do with locator pins but probably the nicest B/C yet.  Although something about the tail bothers me.  Can't put me finger on it.

Won on eBAY,
1/72 Mig-23PD this is the one with two lift jets , Mig-21 style wings and shock cone air intakes. Looks more Mirage than a Mig.
