Won on eBAY,
1/72 Mig-23PD this is the one with two lift jets , Mig-21 style wings and shock cone air intakes. Looks more Mirage than a Mig.

That sounds good. Who makes it please?

I'm tracking a delivery of some Evil-Bay purchases via the Aus Post website.  Strange thing is they seem to be getting further away from me...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I was after the 1/72 Grumman Tracker on eBay but lost out so I got the winning bid on the Lockheed Neptune instead. I'll see if the Neptune is a better fit with the Hawkeye Rotodome on the upper fuselage.

Off eBay 1/76 resin Supercat MK2 6x6 ATMP

(can't help thinking it would look good in one of Weavers Antarctic dioramas  ;) )

Bomber re-supply set & Lancaster B.II bundle
C-47 Skytrain (want to do this as Tropical Tilly from The Thing From Another World but don't think there are any decals in 1/72nd)
Sea Harrier F/A.2

1/72nd Quad Tilt Rotor, 1/144th V/STOL E2 Hawkeye (stalled)

darthspud

Academy 1/72 Hawker Typhoon
Mint condition box, all contents and decals still in inner cellophane

Encore Models 1/72 Pfalz D.III "Blue Max" - the Roden kit with Cartograf-printed decals to replicate the two machines in the 1966 film. I bought it for the decals as I already have another kit well underway, but will probably build it anyway.

And picked up yesterday, as the postie left a card saying it couldn't be delivered for "postal security reasons" even though I was watching from the lounge: Revell 1/72 Fokker D.VII (the absolutely lovely, fun and cheap old tool) and the 1/48 Fokker Dr.I (which is actually the Eduard kit so will be outstanding). All three will be NZ-registered machines, although the Fokkers will be at earlier points in their life than today.

I've got a couple of those: it looks like a nice kit. At least one of them might become a Fairey Delta <something> with a bigger, tailless wing and the lift jets deleted, the idea being that it's a straight fighter development of the FD.2.

Glad to know it's not just here: Royal Mail did that to me on Saturday. Heard the letterbox go, looked down the hall and saw only letters. Went to pick them up ten mins later and there's a "sorry you were out" card in the middle. No knock and no bell (checked it: it works). Got an apology today after a complaint e-mail and three very public tweets...

ER103C?  I've a Novo FD2 that I was going to adapt for service, with a plug aft of the cockpit, wing leading edge brought forward with a kink, wingtip missiles and a new radar nose.

Although instead of the Gyron, I'd give it the RR RB106 Thames.

I was thinking of something more made-up than a straight ER103C model, but yeah, something along those lines.

One of the things that amazes me is that there doesn't seem to have been any proposal for the simplest possible Avon-engined operational version. The FD.2 was the same size as a Mirage and the Avon was always more powerful than the ATAR, yet every FD.2-based fighter proposal seems to have started from the premise that the whole thing needed to be redesigned from scratch with a bigger engine.

Ordered a second 1/500 scale Space Battleship Yamato kit, but it's the slightly less detailed (and cheaper $49) version. I need the extra guns off it.
Also ordered 2 LED lighting kits.
And also ordered one of the following:
http://www.amazon.com/Bandai-Hobby-Scientific-Drilling-Exploring/dp/B0091O16RM/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1432086783&sr=1-1&keywords=chikyu+model+kit

Should recieve everything sometime next week.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Thanks.

Drill Ship looks good Seadude.

Today I received from Evil-Bay 3 1/72 Matchbox aircraft - A Wessex, a Mystere IV and an A10.  The Mystere and the Warthog still have the cellophane on them.  All have Chinese language instructions.  Got them for the opening bid of $20.
The Wessex i'm thinking of giving to the Sky Pirates with a hatch on both sides an a pair of gunners plus rocket pods.  No idea about the other 2.

Did they have small tubes of glue in the box ? If so I've had a couple of these boxing's and I'm convinced they are local re-pops ? It's just the glue and the small note in Chinese in the box
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
