Got hands on a HUMA Me 309 for the stash. Plan is to build one with the cockpit moved forward as a 509, some day...

Won on ebay:

Original Frog Shackleton, 1970s boxing with the mouldings in dark blue plastic.

I've now got all of the Shackleton boxings, unless there was a Novo one.

One AWESOME rivet collection there Lee.   ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

The man in the red van arrived early this morning, I was still in my dressing gown and had not even had my first coffee of the day, with a parcel from the big H.

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

The 'Big Book' says: Frog 1/72 (reboxed by AMT, Chematic, Eastern Express, Hasegawa, Modelcraft Canada, Museum, Novo, Revell).

Museum was an Italian company which was part of the MisterKit family.

Hannants years ago, had a sale of some where they had got hold of a load of 'bagged only' ones (no instructions or decals), they had them going real cheap (8 GBP each IIRC) but who made them I don't know, I bought eight of them though ----  along with a pile of conversion bits from Aeroclub when Peter Wright was still alive.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Finally got my Hasegawa 1/72 U.S. air to air missiles and an F-14B/D from YourmateUK on ebay. From S.Korea to Portugal, 9 days, i get it 20 days later after being held in customs for "verification"...

Two Revell 1:72 Fw 190 A-8s for teh stash - the night fighter and the one with the Hagelkorn gliding bomb. Came cheap  ;D

Today i went to my LHS just to get a new modeling knife and came out with that, a flat brush, a Vallejo model air paint set and another Italeri 1/72 F-16C/D Night Falcon, which is already destined to be a Twin seat XL type...

From BNA Model World who were having a sale I got a Nissan 720 ute and a 3rd gen Toyota Hilux.  Both 1/24 Aoshima, both kerbside, both Cal look surfer versions with boards and lowered suspension, both sharing the same (2wd) chassis parts and both for under $12 each.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I have ordered a 1/48 Kinetic AMX, and the Italeri 1/72 one as well

Both arrived. The Kinetic one looks good. The other is a snap kit with a jigsaw.

Martin H

two special hobby Douglas Digby 1's and a revell Gloster Meteor F4 arrive from hannants. All three were on special offer over the weekend, so went for em.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Italeri 1/72nd AC-47A Chinook
Ram Model 1/72 British Phantoms F-4K/F-4M - The Prototypes, development aircraft and training flight

Excellent new sheet from Ram that replaces the markings for the Early British Phantoms replacing those iffy ones in the Fujimi Yellow Bird Boxing plus the markings from the original Hasegawa kit. No stencils as yet but a sheet is in development for the Naval Phantoms . Additional sheets are expected that will cover 892 squadron and various RAF units  ;D

South and Middle America are a great whiffing playground, esp. for warbirds with a second life...
