1/72 Airmodel vacform Vickers Varsity
1/72 spares or repair 2 x Nord Noratlas (Heller)  1 x Mach2 Br.1150 Atlantic
Wrong scale for the Nord Noratlas and Atlantic, too small could be part of the Heller 1/128 range. A twin tail twin boom Br.1150 Atlantic and a stretched Nord Noratlas. I think I have an old catalog at work, will check the scale.

From Hobby Link Japan I received;

Arii Mitsubishi Ki-46-III Dinah
Arii Mitsubishi L3M1 Nell
ICM Soviet Air to Surface Weapons set
SAC White Metal B-36 Landing Gear

All 1/72 (although the B-36 gear legs look sturdy enough to be 1/48)

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

A 1/72 Imai YS-11 airliner that I gave to a modelling friend DECADES ago on the grounds that I was unlikely to build it. He's slowing his modelling rate down now and he gave it back to me!

I'm thinking it would look good with a rotodome on its roof, or maybe with some Harpoons and things under the wings. Of course I could always just turn it into an Andover/748 by giving it a new paint job!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Well as it goes for about £70 now you could probably trade it in for a S&M HS-748

What? Really? Is it that sought after? I'm  amazed, but I may well go that route then.

Off eBay 1/700 Hasegawa JMSDF Izumo

This is the larger DDH (read that as STOVL carrier this size of Ark Royal IV when built !) thats larger than the earlier Hyuga.

Thinking i can use this as a basis for STOVL only design to replace the invincibles to show how much better the actual QEC will be

Having now grokked what is in the box it seems that on this, the latest (unarmed ) reissue, Arii have opened up all the gates on the sprues and have thus included lots of extra parts for my parts box like torpedoes, bombs, machine guns and glazing for cupolas etc.

Which makes the one for $30 I missed by a few seconds at Expo even more galling.
