.....and the other for an Australian Sabre with the wider fuselage for the Orenda engine and with Aden cannon (for a Fujimi Sabre). Cool stuff, looks better than expected.

Don't you mean the Canadian Sabre?

The Oz built ones had Avon engines, and not all of the Candian built ones had Orendas either.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Only the Canadair Sabre Mk.5 & 6 had Orendas although the single Mk.3 was the prototype

In 2001, if you applied for a UK university place, the RAF arranged for you to be sent a pack containing details of RAF engineering officers and an Airfix Hawk kit.  For £2 in a charity shop in Upminster on Severn, I acquired the whole pack; kit, special box, careers leaflets, booklet on Modern RAF aircraft etc.  It will be a Hawk when it's made up, but not one the RAF would recognise.

Steel Penguin

from woumbourne show
new Hasa moderm US pilot ground crew set 1:48  ( 6 more pilot figs)
AMT  1:25 Jaguar xj220    I think this may have the wheels semi filled and end up as a grav racer / star car ( 2nd hand still in the cellophane)
from the Twisted wargames figures range  Nancy, and Nightingale  28mm ( ish)
and a hasa wepons set c ( 1:48) from an under table,  around a 1/3 of the stuff is still there,  but it also had a pile of decal striping ( red, yellow, black and ali) some clear decal sheet, some large US fuel tanks and the back end of a singe engine jet    not what id expected ( and I should have checked before purchase)  but worth the cost I think

also saw a possible non plan 1:35 purchase,  some one does a M113  + crew + Viet Nam civilian set  but id run short of cash so didn't get, I also resisted the Monogram 1:48 hustler, its my scale of choice, its bonkers, its huge, and I couldn't quite get the enthusiasm up for it .

No, I meant the Australian Avon version. I'll hang myself in the basement now.

Nice collection Martin. I've got a few of the Azure/MPM kits and the Anigrand Skyshark goes together well
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

From Evil-Bay - another 1/72 Fishbed.
This one is an SM/MF by ZTS Plastyk.  I had assumed it was the same mould as the KP SM but I attempted to match up he fuselage halves from the two kits and there are enough subtle differences for them not to fit together.  They still look to have similar parts breakdown though.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
