I have just received a very large box  :o

Very large indeed!!

So I have opened the box (no option of money)

To find my two preordered Airfix Shackleton's  ;D

I will probably fondle the plastic and pore over the instructions in a bit.

Going to be all wet!

??? ???     What?

Gondor

I think he's read "POUR over the instructions", not 'Pore'...  ;)

Cheers

Spelling corrected to PORE

Spelling has never been my strong point but I do manage thanks to the little red worms telling me that I am wrong so I complain when others get it wrong because it is easy to correct. Grammar and punctuation though.......

Mr Models wasn't there...

Mr Models was missing from the St Ives show too. Has something happened to the business?
As I understand it, they are not doing so many model shows. unless they are the real big well attended ones.
They are concentrating on the airshow scene more these days. They have an ebay presence as well from time to time.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

From Japan through eBay the latest reboxing of the Fujimi 1/72 Phantom FG1 Silver Jubilee  (pity they didn't go with the F-4K Yellow Bird or F-4M Sharks Teeth as the earlier model without RWR on the fin would go well with the recent RAM models decal sheet for the early British tooms).

Of course now i've picked up one of those to add to the stash of brit toom, Airfix are bound to annonce a new kit for 2016 that will blow them out of the water in terms of detail  :banghead:. But i would still happily restock with them if they did

An old KP Yak-23. Had the weird idea of grafting the nose onto a late Spitfire, as a kind of Yak-15 solution for the late WWII RAF (but with a centrifugal jet engine).

Yeah, that'd work.  But how about grafting it onto a Typhoon as it already has a similar shape in the radiator inlet which would help to confuse people.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
