The Rat

Snagged at the Ajax model show today: Cyber Hobby 1/200th C-141 Starlifter. Been looking for one since discovering that my Dragon example was stolen from our basement while the house was rented out. It will be done as a KC-141, using parts from the KC-10 in the stash.

The Big Gimper

Just one today today in the mail. From Ebay Modelmaam (Bob Adie) in Vancouver.

1/72  Hasegawa X5U-1. Not sure if its falls into the "Holy Grail" category but very close. I think I might it finish in FAA Operation Musketeer colours with appropriate FAA updates.

Also some older Leading Edge RCAF decals.

Now there's a whiff right there.  Mohawk wings on the Whirlwind - the Grumman/Westland Hawkwind...

I enjoyed my Mohawk build but it's an old kit and fought me a bit - you've got flash, sink marks & gaps to look forward to Dizz...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

How about Mohawk wings on a Pucara? That'd look superficially normal but then make people do a double-take...

From Bungle,

Airfix Skyvan and fairey battle.

(would have had them yesterday, but it was a bank holiday weekend here!)

NARSES2

Was in MZ in Smiths and they had the Airfix 1/72 Wildcat starter pack and I had a 20% off voucher

Now I know I have another coming but I thought "why not ?". I want to see if my projected methodology for the undercarriage/cockpit tub works. This one may well be real as it's in the Atlantic scheme which I like. The one I'm getting direct will be wiffed. Surprisingly the 2 brushes included look quite nice.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I am not one for often posting in this thread but overnight I won an Accurate Armour resin 1/35 Soviet T-44 medium tank.  It is a vehicle I've long been interested in and I got it from Italy for only 40 Euros.  I am rather chuffed, I must say!
