It's taken so long it must have been flown over by a Kiwi bird! I refer of course to a decal sheet from Ventura Publications of RNZAF Kiwi roundels.

There are high-vis red-white-blue roundels and the low-vis red on blue versions. Fin flashes (square and sloped) to match and the roundel scale sizes range from tiny 12 inches up to the massive 54 inches as seen on the Hercules.

Thorvic

Received from Hannants at the weekend the two new Shackleton MR2 and AEW2 decal sheets from Xtradecal. Goes nicely with the Aeroclub one i already have and a subtle Whiff Shack MR2 planned

The Big Gimper

The post person delivered a Luckymodel shipment. They had a 15% off coupon last month.

The SWMBO received it and handed the box to me. Nothing was said. I am very afraid Dave.

You could be really radical and build them symmetrical............  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Have you any idea what the fault is with the Bucc as i read somewhere it is a popular 1/48 kit but won't be reissued as there was a problem with it......I'd love one as well.....great capture for you......

Think I read there had been mould damage
I was all excited when I visited Ian The Kiwi Herder and got to go through his stash. He has one of the damaged-mould Buccs...it is not pretty.

A parcel from Hobby Link Japan.  Perfectly timed so Mrs z was on leave and thus forced to leave bed to answer the door.
I'm now as scared as BG.

Hasegawa 1/72 F-4EJ Phantom
Hasegawa 1/24 Nissan Sunny Ute
Revell 1/25 '29 Ford Roadster

The Revell Ford is new and is a particularly nice kit.  Two different chassis', choice of highboy or channelled build (with 2 sets of interior parts and firewalls) and a very finely detailed Buick Nailhead donk.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I can't go any further without starting to come back.

The odd thing is I only paid for the slowest shipping which takes between 10 & 30 days so I should have been safe as her last day of leave was 10 days after I paid them...

I think it costs more to get the "deliberately delayed" shipping service.

Without checking I think New Zealand is the UK's antipodes and thus a bit farther  ;D And no I'm not saying anything else

Nice haul - compensation for missing Telford ?

I've never made Monk Bar whilst in York, must try and get there next time I'm up the families

KiwiZac

I bought an Academy 1/72 F-104G and an Italeri 1/72 Ju52 today. Tante Ju will wait for a while but as the Starfighter's such a low-parts-count kit it's going straight to the bench tomorrow.
