I took the plunge and bought a 1/72 Matchbox Dornier Do-335A two seater. Remainds me of a kitbash I'm building at the moment.

1/24 MotorMax 1974 Ford  Maverick, already built but missing bumpers and scratches.

1/72 Hasegawa Sikorsky HH-60 Sea Hawk
1/72 Italeri EF 2000

Pvt. Jon Benjaminson of Lundar, Manitoba, 78th Battalion 'Winnipeg Grenadiers' died at Vimy April 9th, 1917.
He was 19.

So young, and looks even younger.  Nice tribute Jon.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

On a less serious note, the packaging states it comes with two different wheel types.  Those dreadnaught wheels could be useful.....

Just got an Airfield 7 display base from Coastal Kits, and a 1973 Airfix 1/72 F-80C Shooting star from a private seller from the UK.

We went and saw Bridge of Spies a couple of weeks back, so of course

The wings have been assembled and there are no decals but otherwise it's all there, for US$8 plus postage. The postage actually cost more so I really should've got more from them...

Anyways, this is going straight on the bench tomorrow morning as Powers' shootdown ship.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Off eBay another 1/72nd Heller Mirage IVA complete with resin cockpit and booklet on the type
Project Cancelled SIG Secretary, specialising in post war British RN warships, RN and RAF aircraft projects. Also USN and Russian warships

PR19_Kit

The MPC U-2 is the Airfix kit sold in the US, maybe the best of the early version U-2s in 1/72.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Yep, the 'ped-rail' type wheels are completely separate, the underlying 'chain' part is moulded to the wheel and
the swiveling pads are each a separate piece. Simple construction that should look just fine when assembled.

Takom seem to be taking a page from the Tamiya playbook in terms of kit engineering, rather than the HobbyBoss/Bronco model of 'let's maximize parts count'.  ;)

An Airfix VC-10 courtesy of our very own PR-19, this to go with my S&M Poffler conversion kit. YES!

Stopped at my LHS and came out with, both 600 scale Airfix :

HMS Tiger and HMS Daring
HMS Victorious

The Victorious was funny.....looked at it and saw the Wessex and Buccs on the box top and thought " Hmm, I've bought this and the painting doesn't match the air wing " So now I have two

Airfix Vulcan and Bristol Super freighter.
The twin-boom, roll-on-roll-off type 170.
Perhaps an AEW Vulcan but with the radomes back to front and twin tail fins.
